Dr. David Mucci

Chief Design and Technology Officer

Co-Founder and Chief Design & Technology Officer, Dr. Mucci practices Emergency medicine at The Hospital of Central Connecticut. He is currently a Board Certified Specialist and a Diplomate for the American College of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Mucci holds an assistant professorship in surgery at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, where he previously has lectured medical students on Trauma.

Dr. Mucci worked in research and development of hydroponic farming and founded Hydroponics Inc., the first hydroponic lettuce farm on the Eastern Seaboard. The techniques he developed were used by NASA for Skylab project, a testing precursor for the current International Space Station. An out-of-the-box thinker, Dr. Mucci also founded an electronic publishing company, Manor Books, prior to the mainstream availability of self-publishing options. Through his successful venture to streamline the pricing and process, students throughout the greater Hartford area published their writings in bound format. Dr Mucci has authored fiction novels, two movie scripts and is currently writing a fiction trilogy.

Dr. Mucci graduated from St George’s University School of Medicine and earned a BS in Chemistry from the University of Miami. He is heavily involved in charity endeavors and is an avid do-it-yourselfer.
